Basic Plan

AGMARK, under the Agricultural Produce (Grading & Marking) Act, 1937 and a 1987 Amendment, is a mark certified by the government of India for all agricultural products ensuring their good quality as well as standard. It is a combination of two words which are AG and MARK. AG means agriculture and MARK which means certification.This mark includes the following types of products:

1.Agriculture and Horticulture products.
2.Food and drinks that are either wholly produced or partially produced and partially manufactured.

There is a comprehensive list pertaining to the products that fall under this type of certification. To that end, there are about 213 products that entail cereal, pulses, vegetables and other semi-processed goods. This certification is not compulsory for all the products. However, it is a necessity for the products that affect the health and safety of the consumer.


Documents Required for AGMARK Registration:
1.Factory map of the place where the production is going on
2.Memorandum of association of the company.
3.Company registration certificate
4.Trademark registration certificate
5.A list of machinery
